PLANO, Texas, May 1, 2025 – LeadsOnline, a global provider of data, analysis and ballistic tools for law enforcement agencies, is sponsoring Survive First and its mission to reduce suicide among first responders. In addition to supporting the organization’s gala last month, LeadsOnline will promote Survive First through ads in its flagship software and featured content in its online knowledgebase, collectively reaching more than 50,000 monthly users. Doug Monda, Survive First’s founder, president and chairman of the board, also will present during the LeadsOnline Advance Training Summit in Frisco, Texas, on May 8.

“At LeadsOnline, we think the world of the men and women of law enforcement who we have the privilege of serving as they work to solve their cases, and we see firsthand the trauma they experience and the burdens they carry while pursing justice and peace for their communities,” explained Alex Finley, CEO of LeadsOnline. “We’re grateful for the Survive First team’s passion for helping first responders and their families, and it’s an honor to use our technology to provide information to our clients about the important resources they offer. We share their deep concern for this community and are proud to support them in this life-saving work.”

Survive First started as a result of its founder’s own struggles with depression and a failed suicide attempt in 2013. Doug was a narcotics agent and now dedicates his life to helping first responders address career-related mental health issues and reducing the associated stigma. The organization’s mission is to reduce first responder suicide through quality education, peer support, and mental health and wellness resources, while fostering a greater sense of community and awareness among first responders and their supporters.

“It means a lot to encounter a company like LeadsOnline who cares about the health and wellness of its law enforcement customers,” said Karen Monda, Survive First’s Executive Director and Doug’s spouse. “Although many agencies have been working to normalize the conversation around work-related stress and mental health, those on the front lines often want to protect their privacy. We exist to support them and their families in prioritizing their care and we’re grateful for LeadsOnline’s support in helping us share information about our programs.”

Survive First’s programs include:

  • Treatment Assistance Fund: Funding assistance for first responders seeking mental health treatment but unable to access such care due to financial hardship
  • HOPE Seminar (Helping Our Protectors Endure): Educational seminars tailored to departments and agencies’ specific needs
  • STRONG: Empowering first responders and their families to enhance their mental wellness through holistic practices and community events focusing on strength, training, resilience, optimization, nutrition and growth
  • Peer-to-peer support: When needed, facilitating conversations with current or retired first responders and/or family members of a first responder

LeadsOnline is pleased to provide information about these valuable resources for the law enforcement community through its free Toolbox resource center and the LeadsOnline software. “It’s OK to not be OK, and there’s help available for law enforcement and other first responders,” Karen added.
