BulletTrax® is the cornerstone of the IBIS framework, expertly digitizing bullet surfaces in 2D and 3D to create detailed topographical maps of bullet markings. This system transforms bullet data integration within the IBIS network by capturing intricate surface details and overall shape, even adjusting for damaged or broken bullets to ensure thorough analysis. After a simple initial setup, BulletTrax operates automatically, reducing the need for operator training and ensuring consistent image quality and precise data correlation. 

• Custom-designed 3D sensor technology: the LeadsOnline 3D sensor captures ultra-fine bullet details at the submicron level with exceptional clarity and precision, even in less-than-ideal setups, ensuring efficient and successful data capture from start to finish.

• Acquisition of Damaged and Pristine Bullets: The BULLETTRAX system employs advanced surface tracking technology to accurately adapt to any bullet's contours, regardless of condition. It captures both damaged and pristine bullets within 11 to 13 minutes across a wide range of designs and calibers, from 0.17 to 0.50, including conventional, polygonal, and unrifled bullets.

• Simple Bullet Mounting Process: The mounting jig makes it easy to precisely mount pristine bullets on the stubs. A set of 10 customized stubs facilitates easy mounting of bullets of various calibers as well as damaged bullets that are typically difficult to mount.

• Pilot cameras: Dual pilot cameras deliver live visuals of the bullet once mounted, streamlining the adjustment and fine-tuning process. This feature eradicates the uncertainty involved in aligning and exploring the bullet's surface, facilitating a seamless setup for data capture with just a few clicks.

• Wide Field of View: The viewing scope offers a 2.8 mm view at the bullet base, ideal for detailed analysis, especially of damaged bullets with base deformities.

• Intuitive user interface: The intuitive interface, combined with streamlined bullet mounting and acquisition, boosts operational efficiency and quickly elevates users to expert proficiency.
