Officer Zach Pecci of Stuart Police Department was assigned to investigate a mass shooting threat. After interviewing the complainant, Pecci developed a phone number for the suspect and ran it in LeadsOnline. In doing so he uncovered a different name for the suspect – which turned out to be their real name. The suspect had an open warrant for Failure to Appear from 2008 and had been hiding under a fake name. Using LeadsOnline’s data Pecci was able to put the puzzle pieces together and later safely take the suspect into custody on his 15-year-old warrant.
