Officer Nate Ferrari from Colorado Springs Police Department was assigned to a case in which a resident of an assisted living facility had been a victim of a theft in her room. The jewelry stolen from her desk included her engagement ring and wedding band. Officer Ferrari used LeadsOnline to discover that a former employee of the assisted living facility had recently pawned some jewelry, and the pawn shop was able to confirm that this jewelry matched the description the victim had given. Ferrari was then able to recover the stolen property and return it to the victim on her 98th birthday.
