Detective Dan Sellers of High Point, NC Police Department ran a murder victim through LeadsOnline and found that he was an avid pawn shop patron. Officer Sellers used this information to contact the businesses the victim visited just before the murder, and they discovered two instances in which the suspect appeared with the victim at a pawn shop. High Point PD was then able to generate images of their suspect using the shop’s video surveillance footage, which ultimately lead to his identification.
