On July 28, 2023, Anne Arundel County, MD Police Department received an NCIC hit in LeadsOnline. The hit was for a firearm that had been stolen in Anne Arundel County in 1996. The police department was able to confirm that the gun discovered was in fact the one that had been stolen 27 years ago and the property was turned over to the county’s Gun Task Force Unit.
