Frequently asked questions

When is Advance 2027?

April 5-8, 2027, in Austin, Texas. Registration is open now. See Register for pricing and to lock in your spot.

Where in Austin will it be?

At The Westin Austin at The Domain, 11301 Domain Dr, in north Austin’s Domain district, with shopping, restaurants, and live music at the doorstep. View it on a map (opens in a new tab). A discounted room block is open now.

What can I expect when I arrive?

Three things. Real knowledge you can put to work the day you get home. Real people across the law enforcement community worth knowing, not just business cards. And a LeadsOnline team on hand all week to answer whatever comes up.

Do I need to register in advance?

Yes. Advance sells out or comes close every year, so register early to hold your seat.

How much will it cost?

Law Enforcement Registration is $229 and includes 16 hours of continuing education, the Evening Networking Event, and the Opening Night Welcome Reception. Guest Registration is $100 for guests of law enforcement attendees and includes the Evening Networking Event and Opening Night Welcome Reception. See Register for details.

Who is Advance for?

Detectives and investigators, crime and intelligence analysts, records and compliance teams, industry partners, and agency leadership. If your work touches records that close cases, this is your room.

Can I bring a guest?

Yes. Guests register and pay in advance just like attendees, which holds their spot for the Opening Night Welcome Reception and Evening Networking Event. See Guest Registration.

Are meals included?

Some. The Opening Night Welcome Reception includes heavy appetizers and drinks, and each day after starts with breakfast plus light snacks throughout.

What should I wear?

Keep it casual and comfortable. Meeting rooms tend to run cool, so bring a jacket or light sweater for the sessions.

Are there discounts for teams?

Registration is priced per person, $229 for law enforcement attendees and $100 for guests. If you are registering a large group from one agency, email the events team and we will help sort out invoicing.

Will I get Continuing Education credit hours for attending?

All attendees receive a certificate of attendance after completing the Continuing Education exam at the end of the conference. You can then apply for credit hours as directed by your state.

Can I speak at Advance 2027?

The call for speakers opens soon. If you have a case story or a workshop in mind, pitch it now and you will be first in the queue.

What if I need to cancel?

Registration holds your seat, so we don’t offer refunds, but you can transfer it to another officer in your agency at no charge. Email the events team to make the switch.
