Investigators say Bend was linked to the crime after attempting to sell items he had allegedly stolen from the robbery at Parkers Pawn on Highway 210.
A nationwide Internet program called LeadsOnline, used by law enforcement to track the sale of items in area pawn shops, helped locate Bend. |

Detectives say two masked men entered Parker Pawn shortly after 9 a.m. on June 25. Both were armed as one of the bandits held employees hostage with a shotgun while inside the business.
Bend was being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $55,000 secured bond. Detectives said they expect more arrests as the investigation continues.
